  This is a system that certifies that products are made using wood that has been systematically harvested in well-managed forests. The Kyoto Hitobuchiryu Secretariat Tailoring Workshop has obtained FSC certification, and each calendar is made using FSC-certified paper.
  Waterless printing is a printing method that does not use water in the printing process, which means that it does not discharge waste liquids that are harmful to the environment. By reducing waste liquid, it contributes to the preservation of the global environment, and by eliminating quality-changing factors that result from the use of water, such as ink bleeding and paper expansion and contraction, it maintains stable print quality.

Regarding the selection of the single-stroke dragon drawing
[2026 (Reiwa 8)] Cover of the Kyoto One-Stroke Dragon Protection Calendar / There are no changes to the types of one-stroke dragon drawings selected and included for each month from the [2025 (Reiwa 7)] version.
In the selection process, the original drawings were actually made by artist Teshima Keisuke, and then special techniques were applied to them, such as "high-precision plate-making data conversion ⇒ high-definition printing, special processing/production, etc.", and we are currently developing a variety of products with 26 types of single-stroke dragon drawings (14 types for good luck, 10 types for protection, and 2 types for matchmaking).
For this calendar, we have selected 13 different designs for the cover and 12 months, taking into consideration the image of the seasons and other factors.
