Kyoto Dragon Painter / Keisuke Teshima

A dragon is drawn in one stroke, with various wishes and thoughts put into it, creating a ``one continuous dragon.''
This famous artist is highly regarded in all quarters for his technique of expressing beautiful, delicate, and sometimes fierce dragon gods with a single stroke , and has presented his works to many famous people through his appearances in many media outlets and events both in Japan and overseas.
He has been practicing karate since he was six years old for 14 years, learning the spirit of the Japanese way, exploring Japanese culture and history, and has been fascinated by dragons since he was a child, continuing to paint dragon paintings.
He encountered the ancient "One-stroke Dragon" technique and was deeply impressed by the history and origins of the technique, and he believed it was his calling to master the technique by himself.
While preserving the tradition of the single-stroke dragon that has continued since the Edo period, we pursue dragons with the spirit of "Shu-Ha-Ri."
Although originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he now has a gallery/art studio in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, the 1,000-year-old capital of the dragon god , as if drawn by a series of coincidences and fate. He is said to be one of only three dragon painters in Japan to own a gallery/art studio.
